The French lessons for 50+ course is the perfect programme to develop your French and discover the French Riviera with people of your age range.

The French for 50+ course is taken in conjunction with the general French course (standard). The programme is designed to develop your speaking, listening, reading, writing skills and help you communicate effectively on a range of topics and situations. The 50+ course will allow you to practice French and discover the Riviera with people of your age range and same interests. It includes*:

  • Guided excursions to: Monaco, Saint-Paul de Vence, Cannes, Antibes, Eze Village & Nice
  • A guided visit of Beaulieu-sur-Mer: “Following in the footsteps of the Belle Epoque” or “Botanical walk”
  • Dinner and wine tasting

The French for 50+ programme is for participants whose goals are to:

  • Be independent in everyday tasks and situations.
  • Express and interact in conversations.
  • Understand information read or heard.
  • Write emails, letters, presentations, accounts, etc.
  • Develop knowledge of French culture, gastronomy, history, sociology, literature, art, etc.
  • Improve accuracy in idioms, vocabulary and grammar
  • Improve confidence to communicate fluently in French.

*The choice of activities / excursions will depend on the number of participants, the duration of their stay, their interests and the weather. The school organizes one activity / excursion per weekday.
